About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Principal Auditor to join our Corporate Bank audit team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving enhanced coverage of Conduct risk and supervision processes globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Principal Audit Manager in undertaking audit assignments and drafting audit issues/reports for review by audit management.
  • Execute/oversee audit fieldwork in line with the agreed audit approach, documenting process flows, identifying key risks, controls, test plans, and testing key controls to determine whether they are properly designed and operating effectively.
  • Coach/support/lead an audit team to complete tasks on time and to Group Audit (GA) methodology requirements.
  • Partner across other audit teams globally to ensure comprehensive audit coverage and an integrated approach to key risk topics.
  • Communicate openly with GA management and internal stakeholders, keeping them informed of potential issues and escalating problems/delays accordingly.
  • Stay up-to-date with pertinent industry, regulatory, and business practices.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of auditing within financial services, particularly Corporate Banking products, coupled with familiarity of working within the operational requirements and regulatory environment of a global bank.
  • Profound knowledge of auditing standards and concepts and experience in using data analytics to perform audit testing.
  • Professional credentials, including degree-level education, a Master's degree, and a relevant professional qualification.
  • A proven track record of meeting client needs in a financial services environment.
  • Proven communication and presentation skills and unquestionable personal integrity and ethics.
