Strategic Business Development Partner

We are a dynamic and innovative production house, representing Europe's largest developer family with 17 game studios, a digital marketing agency, a gamification company, and an internal publisher. Our extensive knowledge and experience in games and entertainment products have enabled us to establish ourselves as a reliable and efficient partner since 2005.
With over 450 projects developed and implemented on major platforms such as PC, console, mobile, and browser, we have built a strong network of national and international partners. We support and mentor start-ups and development studios in various areas like production, business development, finance, legal, company founding, and HR management.
About the Role:As a Strategic Business Development Partner, you will be part of our close-knit family and play a key role in empowering teams and helping them grow and level up. You will offer strategic guidance and business support to our dev studios across multiple departments, including finance, marketing, and more.
This highly unique role is shaped by your expertise while also providing opportunities to develop new skills. You will be part of our rcp Strikeforce, a cross-functional team tackling complex challenges and driving company success. Your insights will guide studios toward success, ensuring alignment with both their long-term goals and our objectives.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Support our teams in developing and pursuing a strategic company vision
- Communication with clients & sponsors, partners, and other departments
- Ensure smooth workflows within the team and represent us as shareholders
- Identify and enact cross-team synergies to aid quality and productivity
- Consult on product and project management and ensure best practices for success
- Working with teams and projects of different sizes & budgets, genres & platforms
- 10-15 years of experience, including at least 4 years in the games industry.
- Strong expertise in strategy, financial planning, consulting, or project management.
- Leadership experience in managing or mentoring teams, preferably within game studios or creative teams.
- General understanding of game development throughout the whole cycle.
- Proven ability to handle complex projects and provide actionable insights.
- Adept at building trust with teams and encouraging collaboration.
- Experience in Publishing, Marketing, Business Development, or Investment is a plus.
- Fluency in English; German is a bonus.
- Open to occasional travel.
- Passion for games.
- The competitive salary ranges from 60,000 EUR to 90,000 EUR annually
