Job Overview
Bäckerei Wilhelm Middelberg is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our bakery shop team. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling our breads, pastries, and confectionery products, and managing the attached cafe area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and competent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers
- Sell a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, and confectionery products
- Handle cash transactions and perform independent cash reconciliation
- Bake and arrange various baked goods, prepare snacks, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Manage the attached cafe area, including maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
- Create enticing product displays to showcase our products

Requirements:
- Prior experience in food production, (system) gastronomy, or food retail is highly desirable
- Enjoy working with people and providing excellent customer service
- Independent and organized work ethic, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good written and verbal German skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Minimum age of 18 years, with a valid ID
