**About the Role:**

At Sharp Brains, we are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time position responsible for providing exceptional support services to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-4 years of experience in onsite support and excellent knowledge of Windows 7 OS. You will be responsible for managing desktop devices (hardware, software, and connectivity) incidents through to resolution. Additional responsibilities include managing IMAC and desk-side support services, hard and soft break fix services for laptops and desktops, and providing standard and approved hardware and software support.

You will also be responsible for supporting, managing, optimizing, and maintaining the configuration and installation of desktop devices, including patch updates, hardware replacements, and remote management using appropriate tools. Experience with Service Management tool – e.g., Service Now – is essential. Good expertise on EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office, and Outlook is also required. Preferred skills include good understanding of Lync, VPN, and mobile device support.

This role involves analyzing Service Desk calls for desktop devices and incident data to identify and advise customers of any potential user training requirements and automation. You will also ensure that each desktop device is installed with the appropriate desktop image and manage desktop devices (hardware and software) incidents through to resolution.

In addition, you will monitor security profiles and anti-virus software on all desktop devices and take appropriate action in the event of non-compliance with security requirements. VIP support for desk-side issues per contract and being the point of contact at the site for all IT-related issues when no other IT support team is unavailable are also key responsibilities.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
