Exciting Opportunity for a Biostatistics Expert

Taylor Young is partnering with a leading Global Pharmaceutical company to expand their biometrics team in Germany. We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead their biostatistics team.

Main Responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead one or more indications/projects in a Therapeutic Area with minimal supervision from the senior statistical project leader or team leader.
  • Mentor the project team while promoting teamwork, quality, operational efficiency, and innovation.
  • Ensure productive collaboration with other functions within the aligned project team and with other statistics project leaders.
  • Represent statistics in cross-functional working groups and contribute to operational process optimization.
  • Provide statistical support and scientific leadership for assigned projects, ensuring quality, relevance to external stakeholders, and scientific validity.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • PhD/MS in statistics or a related discipline with at least 6 years of pharmaceutical experience in clinical development, including late-phase clinical development.
  • Broad knowledge and strong understanding of advanced statistical concepts and techniques.
  • Proficient in conducting advanced statistical analyses using SAS or R.
  • Demonstrated strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
