Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Safety Manager to join our team at Hexcel Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective EHS programs and initiatives that foster a zero-incident culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with site leadership to develop and implement EHS programs and initiatives that exceed regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership and expertise in implementing, improving, and maintaining certification of EHS management systems according to ISO standards.
  • Influence the workforce and organizational leadership to drive support for EHS actions and commitments for continuous improvement.
  • Manage interactions and develop collaborative working relationships with government agencies, professional EHS groups, community advisory panels, internal EHS colleagues, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit or Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 7+ years of EHS experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
  • Experience coordinating various regulatory compliance actions, including filing permits with government agencies.
  • Experience in root cause/corrective action methodologies.
  • Knowledge and experience implementing ISO 14001 or 45001 management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience coordinating Process Safety Management (PSM) activities and compliance preferred.
  • Regulatory knowledge in OSHA, EPA, RCRA, and PSM preferred.
  • Professional certification or ability to obtain preferred (CSP, CIH, etc.).

Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
