Electrical Systems Application Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Application Specialist to join our team at Gamma Technologies LLC. As a key member of our electrical system and components application team, you will be responsible for supporting and training our European customers in the utilization of our simulation platform GT-SUITE.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers in the application area of electrical systems and components, including energy storage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new features and functionalities in GT-SUITE.
  • Contribute to the development of customer-tailored simulation methodologies using GT-SUITE.
  • Expand the usage of GT-SUITE to new markets, applications, and systems.
  • Participate in software development by specifying, validating, and testing new features.
  • Deliver software trainings to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at technical conferences and events.

Your Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or process engineering.
  • Experience in battery cell and module modeling, including electrical, electrochemical, thermal, and structural aspects.
  • Strong understanding of numerical methods and simulation software.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and German.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally in Europe and internationally.
