Software Engineer for Process Design Tools

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Linde GmbH, Linde Engineering. As a Software Engineer for Process Design Tools, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our simulation software for Process Design, including its proprietary Physical Property Package.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Linde's simulation software for Process Design, ensuring continuous improvements and integration with our simulation toolchain.
- Implement High Performance Computing methods in Physical Property Software and Process Simulators.
- Qualify and implement problem-specific tailored numerical algorithms.
- Design and develop software architecture with a focus on High Performance Computing.
- Collaborate with LE IT's Experts to support new IT technologies.
- Lead project execution of software development projects in an international team.
- Diploma / Master's degree / PhD in Natural Science or Computer Science or Engineering or similar degrees.
- 5+ years of professional experience in a similar field of work, ideally in a process industry environment.
- Excellent experience in designing, developing, and operating High Performance Software Applications.
- Strong knowledge in C++, with C++20 knowledge a plus.
- Experience with C++ libraries and techniques in the field of Scientific Computing.
- Experience in (agile) software development in interdisciplinary teams.
