Experienced Accountant

We are seeking an experienced accountant (m/w/d) for our location in Wiesbaden-Nordenstadt.

Key Responsibilities:

• Banking (retrieving, accounting, and booking of account statements)
• Daily reconciliation of account balances with the general ledger and timely clarification of discrepancies
• Processing and responsibility for the accounts receivable area
• Preparation of the weekly debtor cash forecast
• Debtor collection
• Reconciliation of debtor accounts, including clarification of account differences
• Verification and reconciliation of accounts receivable accounts, including profit and loss accounts
• Participation in the context of the annual financial statement audit of the debtor area and provision of documents (e.g. balance confirmations) to the auditors
• Intercompany transactions (verification and reconciliation of incoming and outgoing invoices from the intercompany area; preparation of the monthly intercompany invoices and reconciliation of intercompany accounts - accounts receivable and payable - with the colleagues in the Oxford Group); preparation of the monthly intercompany matrix
• Preparation of the monthly account allocations (ARAP, PRAP, other standard provisions, etc.)
• Account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, including report and clarification of discrepancies
• Participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities (preliminary review of the monthly balance sheet; determination and implementation of correction entries in the general ledger)

Professional Requirements, Skills, and Competencies:

• MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Good accounting and accounting knowledge
• Good English skills (>=B2)
• Very good German skills (>=C1)
• Training as a financial accountant
• Accounting according to HGB and possibly IFRS Leasing
• Scholarly, logical analysis of process flows
• Concentrated, timely, and accurate work with priorities
• Teamwork
• Awareness of confidential matters to be handled
• Secrecy and confidentiality of internal information, particularly financial key figures
