About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned procurement professional to join our team at Negotiation Advisory Group GmbH as a Category Manager for Indirect Spend Optimization. As a key member of our global procurement team, you will be responsible for driving savings initiatives and shaping category strategies to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement global category strategies to drive savings and improve procurement processes
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize cost-saving opportunities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of procurement strategies with business objectives
  • Manage and analyze data to inform procurement decisions and optimize category performance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions
Requirements
  • Proven experience in procurement and category management, with a focus on indirect spend optimization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop insights
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • University graduate degree in business or a related field
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages a plus
