About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer EU - Video & Media Infrastructure to join our team at Lawo AG. As a key member of our Project & Solution Delivery Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality video and media infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Commissioning and Support
    • Commission, configure, and support video/audio/network systems, both on-site and remotely.
    • Participate in site acceptance testing and provide customer training as needed.
    • Collaborate with customers, system integrators, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Design and Documentation
    • Enhance designs and document media systems incorporating video/audio/network solutions.
    • Work with other technology vendors to understand 3rd party elements.
    • Evaluate performance and suggest corrective improvement actions.
  • Pre-Sales Support
    • Deliver technical solutions through consultancy, expertise, and knowledge.
    • Propose and produce system designs for accurate quoting and successful delivery.
    • Produce scope of work documentation detailing customer solutions.
    • Provide feedback to Product Line Management on regional or common feature requests.
Requirements
  • Education in broadcast video, network, audio, or related fields.
  • Network, IT, Linux, Docker knowledge with configuration experience.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard SMPTE 2110/2022/AES67 IP solutions.
  • Experience in media environments, on-air broadcast operations, IP projects, and control/monitoring systems.
  • Passion for technology and ability to learn new products.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Structured problem-solving ability and strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Readiness for domestic and international travel (up to 40%) and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages, with English being essential, and German and Spanish being an asset.
