Job Description

We are seeking a Regional IT Security Specialist to join our team in NRW. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating IT security measures for automation systems in the chemical production area. This includes developing, implementing, and improving central and decentralized OT security measures for the OT environment in our three sites in NRW.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security, network infrastructure, and security systems. They will be responsible for executing and implementing projects in the OT security area, conducting threat and risk analyses, and providing technical guidance to local DCS-OT Caretakers. The candidate will also be responsible for creating concepts for IT security measures in the production environment and identifying and reporting on the latest developments in the field of cybersecurity.

Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in a related field, preferably in the PLT area
  • Expertise in network and infrastructure technology, as well as security systems and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate and problem-solve
  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
