About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Coordinator to join our team at Group-Ips. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for coordinating the full project lifecycle, from concept design to detailed development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage the engineering coordination toolkit, including deliverables, staff planning, project/process description, conceptual layout, equipment list, and process block diagrams.
  • Collaborate with the project manager, process engineer, and industry expert to redefine the methodology and organize interdisciplinary checkpoints between engineering disciplines.
  • Manage spatial coordination on the project layout and 3D models, working closely with the Draft & Design team.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and technical background.
  • Organize staff allocation of lead engineers and expert back-office support.
  • Supervise the quality, level of detail, and compliance to contractual agreements with customers.
  • Follow up on design change management and design review cycles.
  • Report to the project manager and engineering manager on progress, risks, and profitability of the engineering team.
Requirements
  • Civil or Industrial engineering degree.
  • Passion for technical aspects of projects and ability to deliver high-quality results while understanding project management aspects.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • More than 6 years of experience in technical projects.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role with experience in engineering management, BIM, and process engineering.
  • Team player with leadership skills.
  • Mobile and willing to travel for short-term activities.
  • Rigorous, anticipative, and stress-resistant with good communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of design workflows for each engineering discipline to evaluate data availability for design phase engagement.
  • Driver capable of motivating the team to respect and achieve deadlines.
  • Flexible and able to adapt and streamline the design process in line with project lifecycle changes.
  • Innovator open to new ideas and developments and willing to drive them.
  • Software knowledge: Microsoft Office, basic knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD and REVIT, and detailed knowledge of calculation software and/or 3D coordination software.
