Job Title: Field Applications Engineer

A highly sought-after opportunity for a Field Applications Engineer at a pioneering semiconductor company. This pivotal role will play a crucial part in shaping the company's future.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Applications Engineer to provide technical support to European customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power semiconductors and their applications, with excellent communication skills and the ability to travel to customer sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales teams to provide pre and post-sales technical support to European customers.
  • Travel to customer sites to provide support and troubleshoot customer applications.
  • Work closely with device and module design engineers to develop and implement solutions.
  • Develop strong relationships with sales and engineering teams to drive next-generation products.
  • Technically qualify opportunities and propose the best solution.
  • Assist new and existing customers from evaluation through production.
  • Gather information on the competitive landscape and report to management.
  • Communicate technical market trends and recommend strategies for success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in power semiconductors and their applications.
  • Strong communication skills – fluent in German and English.
  • Ability to review schematics and provide support using the company's products.
  • Knowledge of SiC MOSFETs, Diodes, and Power Modules.
