Role Overview

Aroundhome is seeking a talented Senior UX Designer to drive the creation of exceptional user experiences for our digital products. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and user-centered interfaces that meet the needs of our customers.

Your primary focus will be on optimizing our digital partner journey to create maximum value for both Aroundhome and our partners. You will have the opportunity to develop innovative solutions and make a real impact on our business.

  • You will work closely with our product management, engineering, and user research teams to design and implement user-centered solutions.
  • You will be responsible for deriving concepts, user flows, customer journey maps, prototypes, and mockups from the needs of our users.
  • You will regularly test your concepts and prototypes through UX and usability tests with our users, using quantitative data from A/B tests to inform your design decisions.
  • You will be part of an agile, cross-functional team and serve as a point of contact for your teammates and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • You have several years of relevant experience as a UX Designer, possess expertise in your field, and can draw on a diverse portfolio of successfully implemented projects.
  • You excel at understanding customer needs through strong analytical skills and translating them into creative and innovative design ideas.
  • You bring expertise in commonly used UX tools, such as Figma, as well as experience in testing concepts and prototypes based on UX and usability tests.
  • You are familiar with user-centered methods like Design Thinking and Product Discovery, and have a basic understanding of web development (HTML, CSS).
  • You work with high levels of responsibility and self-organization, are a strong communicator and team player, and excel in interactions with users and stakeholders in both German and English.
