Director of Logistics and Supply Chain Location : Remote (Germany, Switzerland, or UK)

We are currently working with a fast-growing FMCG company that is undergoing a major transformation and is looking for a talented Director of Logistics and Supply Chain to join their team.

This exciting opportunity is remote, with flexibility for candidates based in Germany, Switzerland, or the UK.

As they scale up and restructure their logistics and supply chain operations, they are searching for a strategic leader to drive the future of their supply chain.

As the Director of Logistics and Supply Chain, you will take ownership of the company's entire logistics and supply chain operation, from warehousing to transportation and distribution across multiple regions.

You will be responsible for optimizing processes, leading a high-performing team, and implementing cutting-edge technologies to support the company's ambitious growth.

Key to this role will be your ability to lead the logistics and supply chain transformation and ensure the business is fully equipped to manage increasing complexity as it scales.

Lead and Manage :
Oversee the end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations, leading a dynamic team across Europe.
Design and implement logistics and supply chain strategies that drive operational efficiency and support the company's long-term growth.
Identify and address bottlenecks in the supply chain, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

Transformation Leadership :
Be the driving force behind the logistics and supply chain transformation, managing change and modernizing logistics and supply chain functions.

Cost Management :
Ensure the logistics and supply chain operations remain within budget, finding areas for cost savings without sacrificing service quality.

Technology Implementation :
Spearhead the integration of logistics and supply chain technologies and automation to boost productivity.

Collaboration :
Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the supply chain.

Risk Management :
Anticipate and mitigate any potential risks or disruptions in the logistics and supply chain process.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have significant experience in senior logistics and supply chain roles within the FMCG sector, preferably with exposure to multi-regional logistics and supply chain across Europe.

Extensive experience as a Director of Logistics and Supply Chain or senior-level logistics and supply chain leader within the FMCG sector.
Strong knowledge of European logistics and supply chain landscapes, particularly in Germany, Switzerland, and the UK.
A track record of managing logistics and supply chain transformations, driving operational excellence and managing large teams.
Expertise with logistics and supply chain technology solutions, including ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.

Fluency in English is essential; additional languages (German, etc.) Remote flexibility – Work from Germany, Switzerland, or the UK.
