Process Engineer

Job Summary

As a key member of our Global Technical Operations team, you will play a critical role in driving the development and improvement of complex, automated manufacturing processes for IVD and Life Science products. This exciting opportunity will challenge you to conceptualize, plan, and conduct process and data analyses, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in our production processes.

Your responsibilities will include leading or contributing to process development and continuous improvement projects, identifying and assessing new manufacturing technologies, and developing production concepts and business cases. You will also assist in risk assessments, equipment qualification, and validation.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement process improvements and new manufacturing technologies to increase efficiency and quality
- Conduct process and data analyses to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop production concepts and business cases
- Identify and assess new manufacturing technologies to drive innovation and improvement
- Assist in risk assessments, equipment qualification, and validation to ensure compliance and safety

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as life science or engineering, with professional experience or a relevant Ph.D.
- 3+ years of experience in a medical, bio-technology, or pharmaceutical industry company
- Passion for complex, automated manufacturing processes and experience in areas such as sealing, welding, and assembly processes of plastic components
- Strong project management skills and knowledge of Six-Sigma and Lean methodology
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and hierarchies in both English and German
