Job Title: Shift Leader

At Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at our contract logistics center in Werne near Dortmund. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for the professional and disciplinary management of the operational team leaders and teams of approximately 25 employees per shift.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage the operational team leaders and teams to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Conduct personnel discussions with operational management on topics such as employment, termination, absenteeism, performance, quality, and work behavior.
  • Monitor compliance with agreed service levels and KPIs.
  • Carry out regular warehouse tours to ensure CIP, order, and cleanliness, as well as lean management (HPS) practices.
  • Analyze and discuss processes and productivity with each area.
  • Ensure the efficient use of equipment.
  • Support operational management in personnel deployment planning.
Your Profile:
  • Completed training as a warehouse logistics specialist or comparable qualification.
  • Strong experience in employee management.
  • Excellent communication skills across different hierarchy levels.
  • Experience working with a warehouse management system.
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office package.
  • Structured and independent work style.
  • Confident and engaging manner, with assertiveness.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including early and late shifts.
