Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled PhD researcher to join our team at the Clinical Epidemiology Unit of the Institute of Epidemiology and Social Medicine at Universitätsklinikum Münster. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary team working on a DFG-funded research project focused on evaluating diagnostic tests with spatially or temporally clustered data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and enhance existing methods for diagnostic studies with clustered data
  • Develop and document new frameworks for planning and analyzing diagnostic studies
  • Collaborate with the Institute of Medical Biometry and Epidemiology at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Epidemiology, Health Sciences, Public Health, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience with statistical programming language R
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus
  • High level of motivation and responsibility
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in an interdisciplinary team
