Financial Controller

IONITY is seeking a highly skilled Senior Controlling Manager to join our team in Munich, Germany. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for the ownership of the yearly budget and quarterly forecast process.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
- Prepare and present high-quality financial reports and analysis to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for cost optimization and implement process improvements.
- Lead project work, including Business Case assessments and process improvements.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end close activities, including accrual calculations and reconciliations.
- Provide financial guidance and support to site locations, including purchase request approvals and asset booking checks.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal financial processes and documentation.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide financial support as needed.
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Controlling, with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Fluent in English; German is a strong asset.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP (Hana) and SAP project controlling is a significant advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive, motivated, and commercially astute.
