Senior Cloud Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Developer to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our cloud development team, you will play a crucial role in the development of SAP HANA Cloud features, focusing on cloud services and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and test cloud-based applications and services using Go, Python, C++, and Rust.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address production issues, improving product stability, scalability, and operability.
- Participate in rotational on-call systems and engage with diverse teams located in different geographical regions.
- Contribute to OpenSource projects and pursue ongoing learning and support technological and procedural improvements and efficiencies.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German, with a willingness to collaborate effectively.
- Preferred experience with SaaS environments and basic knowledge in cloud computing and container orchestration solutions, particularly Kubernetes and its operators.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with the capacity to understand complex technical issues.
