We are seeking a dedicated Intern or Working Student to support our global Operational Excellence Team at the European Distribution Centre (EDC). This role offers an excellent opportunity to understand the intricacies of distribution within a leading Medical Device Manufacturer and to contribute to our pursuit of logistical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executing projects focused on enhancing efficiency and ensuring project transparency.
  • Applying Lean Management and Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes.
  • Organizing and facilitating training sessions for team members.
  • Participating in the ongoing process of continuous improvement.
  • Conducting research, analysis, and summarizing technical topics.
  • Performing measurements and tracking key performance indicators.

Candidate Profile

  • Currently pursuing an advanced degree in industrial engineering, logistics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrates an independent, organized, and dependable work ethic.
  • Possesses a hands-on approach to implementing solutions in a production setting.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Management is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills.
  • Flexible and eager to engage in various projects.
