Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Specialist to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a key member of our Directorate of Business, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and coordinating business operations to ensure the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Business Operations Specialist, including preparing reports, maintaining records, and coordinating meetings.
  • Assist in the development of business plans, long-range program goals, and policies, requiring analysis of interrelated issues of effectiveness of TLSC-E programs.
  • Identify information needed for the evaluation of operations, gather data, and participate in the development of recommendations to resolve existing problems.
  • Support the supervisor/co-workers by performing special studies of problems and issues related to segments of the overall program, identifying problems, and making recommendations to the supervisor.
  • Organize, administer, and coordinate all issues pertaining to a limited number of leasing and/or service contracts to ensure contractors meet their responsibilities for product quality.
  • Ensure quality and timely work performance is provided by the Contractor(s), initiate corrective action, and notify the responsible Contracting Officer and contractor of violations and deficiencies noted.
  • Prepare local operating procedures based on supplements, regulations, and manuals of higher echelons in the area of maintenance and quality assurance.
  • Serve as the Contracting Officer Representative and primary source of information to the Contracting Officer in determining and evaluating the contract costs incurred.
  • Follow surveillance techniques and written procedures to use in inspecting the operations or functions under contract to determine efficiency and equitable review appropriate to the service.
Requirements
  • Office automation skills are required.
  • German driver's license class B desired.
  • English AND German Language Proficiency level C1 required.
