Generator Switchgear Technician

We are seeking a skilled Generator Switchgear Technician to join our team at Siemens AG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting professional product training, revision work, and maintenance services for our customers worldwide.
About the RoleThis is a rare opportunity for an experienced field or service technician looking to settle down but still get out into the world and use their experience and skills. You will be responsible for:
- Conducting professional product training (commissioning, maintenance, operation) for our customers.
- Revision work (mainly mechanical) on our generator switchgear, including workflow definition, materials and tools planning, execution, testing, and documentation.
- Providing maintenance and repair services to our customers worldwide.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Several years of experience in a field, service, or commissioning technician function.
- A broad technical understanding and interest in generator switchgear or adjacent equipment.
- Strong communication skills, including moderation techniques and presentation methods.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English and German.
- Experience in using digital measurement technology and equipment.
