We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our Finance department in Leverkusen.

Business Analyst (m/f/d) for Financial Analysis

Finance inspired by you - Your tasks

  • Conduct gross profit and variable marketing variance analysis consolidation for all markets.
  • Support the consolidation of profit forecasts.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements for consolidation and variance analysis tools across all markets.
  • Serve as a forecast and business analyst for Identifications, ensuring analysis includes profit and loss as well as current model pricing calculations and their release.
  • Communicate and align with the New Model Pricing Team (NMP) on new model input (Price Release), forecast input, and rationale to ensure markets input data correctly.
  • Support the market equation process for new models with financial calculations by country and on a European average (circa markets), including price release to run full Market Equation for a better understanding of process dependencies.
  • Support financial business case reviews on current models provided by NSCs with detailed analysis and evaluation.

  • Degree in Business Administration, ideally with a focus on Finance or equivalent.
  • Work experience in Marketing, Sales, or Finance, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Understanding of the market equation process.
  • Very good Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Initiative and flexible attitude.
  • Customer and goal-oriented.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, international team environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with management and staff levels.
  • Sound business acumen and judgment.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
