About the Role

HelloFresh is seeking a skilled Fullstack Engineer to join our Data Platform team. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data platform tooling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the architecture, development, deployment, and maintenance of the services and tooling you will develop.
  • Develop a unified tool for the Data Platform, including API, UI, additional tooling, CI/CD, and infrastructure.
  • Define and set standards for data platform tooling usage across the organization.
  • Share your expertise on UI and API development across team members.
  • Collaborate in an autonomous, cross-functional team with product owners, backend engineers, and data engineers.

Requirements

  • Expertise in end-to-end development processes using JVM-based languages/Golang/Python, including unit, integration & functional testing, application tuning/profiling, and continuous integration.
  • Solid frontend experience using React.
  • Ability to design and develop API.
  • Experience working with Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
  • You embrace CI/CD methods and practices.
  • Experience working with relational databases, like PostgreSQL, and object stores, like AWS S3.
  • You thrive in the opportunity to collaborate and mentor team members, while also sharing practical knowledge and trends.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Python or a willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript.
