Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team and contribute to our mission of improving global safety through intuitive and accessible designs.
Key Responsibilities- UX Research: Conduct comprehensive user research and lead the process of exploratory and guided interviews to gain insights into user needs and behaviors.
- User Journey Mapping: Develop user journeys and information architectures to structure our apps and create a visual foundation for constructive team discussions.
- Prototyping and Usability Testing: Design clickable prototypes, test design concepts, and gather user feedback to identify and resolve usability issues.
- UI Design: Create detailed UI designs in Figma, selecting color schemes, typography, graphics, and interaction patterns that reflect the visual identity of our products.
- Collaboration with Developers and Stakeholders: Work closely with the product team and developers to implement design decisions and balance user and business requirements.
- Design System Development: Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and best practices to ensure consistent design across products and platforms.
- At least 5 years of experience in UX/UI design for mobile apps, preferably in a successful company where you have contributed to design decisions and initiated innovative solutions.
- Strong understanding of user research and research methods, enabling you to lead junior designers and develop strategies to meet user needs.
- Passion for safety and a willingness to take responsibility and contribute to the company's growth.
- Experience in mentoring junior designers and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent team skills and empathy, particularly in handling sensitive user needs and expectations.
- Proficiency in English and German languages.
