Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer for Control Technology to join our team at J. Schmalz GmbH. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for our control technology products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop software for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and visualization systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and improve existing solutions
- Develop and maintain software libraries and tools
- Contribute to the standardization of control technology software
- Provide technical support and integration services to customers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development and implementation
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages, such as C, C++, or Java
- Experience with Siemens, Beckhoff, and Allen Bradley software
- Knowledge of fieldbus systems and IO-Link
- Excellent German and English language skills (B2 level)
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
