Job Description

We are currently seeking a Lead Project Engineer in Electrical Engineering for a significant infrastructure project. This role involves overseeing the implementation of electrical systems and energy supply for a major construction project. Your Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the compliant execution of electrical engineering tasks related to the turnkey construction of the above-ground transportation station. You will manage the assigned project partners during the various project phases and coordinate interfaces with a focus on energy supply, transformer stations, backup power systems, cable routing, lighting, and signaling technology. You will also conduct technical reviews of the plans and ensure adherence to guidelines, testing regulations, and recognized engineering standards. As the technical point of contact for the implementation of electrical systems, you will oversee costs and timelines in collaboration with the technical building services team and project management. Additionally, you will direct contractors and facilitate coordination among project stakeholders during the planning and construction phases. Your Profile: You hold a completed degree in electrical engineering or possess qualifications as a certified electrical technician or master electrician. You are an expert with experience in managing electrical engineering projects, and prior experience in handling infrastructure projects is advantageous. You demonstrate a solid understanding of contract management and relevant standards, ideally possessing extensive knowledge of project phases and basic knowledge of fire protection regulations. You are persuasive and can effectively communicate your ideas to others. You are well-organized, tackle challenges proactively, and enjoy working independently, goal-oriented, flexibly, and collaboratively. Proficiency in the German language, both written and spoken, is essential.
