About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Management Professional to join our team at Mercedes-Benz. As a key member of our Real Estate Management team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of property submissions, including checking and approving property-related notices and preparing property tax value declarations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage property submissions, including checking and approving property-related notices and preparing property tax value declarations
  • Value properties for purchase price allocation, estimation of remaining useful life, and determination of insurance values
  • Process purchase, sales, rental, concession, and lease agreements, as well as leasehold matters and manage cadastral and surveying matters
  • Interface with construction, legal, accounting, and tax departments
  • Collaborate in investment and letting management
  • Record and update master data and documentation in standard applications
  • Participate in the further development of methods and processes for the harmonization and standardization of activities in the Real Estate Management team
  • Participate in projects, including the implementation of new real estate management requirements, introduction of SAP S/4 Hana, digitalization projects, and more

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed (technical) university degree in economics or engineering with a focus on real estate or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience, ideally on the owner's side in an industrial environment, with an understanding of legal, economic, and technical relationships in property management
  • Experience in the management of property levies
  • Knowledge of German building law desirable
  • Knowledge of accounting and tax handling of real estate matters is an advantage
  • Confident handling of MS Office, ideally experience with SAP and property-related IT applications
  • Fluency in German and ideally a good command of English
