Quality Assurance and Control Manager

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our QA/QC Engineering team in Gelsenkirchen.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide consultation and support to construction site management and specialist project management on quality assurance organization, implementation, and documentation.
- Act as the central point of contact for suppliers regarding quality assurance queries.
- Coordinate parties involved in monitoring deliveries and services, including external inspectors, assessors, and TÜV.
- Develop and maintain the quality assurance plan in terms of content and timely implementation, in collaboration with construction site management.
- Implement and execute ITP processes, including attending hold points in production.
- Ensure compliance with quality processes and conduct early checks through inspections and site visits.
- Initiate additional quality assurance measures for specific findings or discoveries.
- Participate in planning and conducting audits on quality topics and inspections.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in quality management and assurance.
- Organizational skills, familiarity with Project Management Systems (PMS), and Document Management Systems (DMS).
- Construction site experience, ideally in power plant construction or plant engineering.
- NDT experience according to ISO 9712 in multiple methods, as well as certification as an International Welding Engineer (SFI), Welding Technician (ST), or Welding Specialist (SFM), desirable.
- Fluent in both spoken and written German and English.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as a high level of reliability.
- Willingness to undertake long-term assignments locally and internationally.
