Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to lead our team in Berlin boutique.

Your Opportunity

As Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, visual merchandising, client service, and operational functions within the store. You will also oversee floor coverage, develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and support the Store Manager in achieving targeted quantitative and qualitative goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a positive work environment, consistent with Balenciaga behaviours
  • Identify, attract, recruit, develop and retain talent
  • Support the Store Manager in creating a team whose activities are always motivated, competent and up to date in the fashion and luxury industries
  • Behave as a Balenciaga Ambassador, sustain and promote the culture of the brand internally and externally
  • Ensure Balenciaga Signature and Client experience are executed and consistent over time
  • Develop clienteling mindset and client's loyalty and retention from beginners to VICs
  • Build a network of people who have an impact on local and international luxury business in order to promote client loyalty, especially with VIC and VVICs
  • Ensure that all the processes are compliant with legal, safety, security, internal requirements, sustainability, HR guidelines
  • Ensure execution of Retail Excellence guidelines in the store
  • Support the Store Manager in managing inventory activities and warehouse stock
  • Challenge and improve current processes sustaining the growth and ensure efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

  • You have significant experience in team management, in store management and in the sale of luxury products;
  • You have good social skills and a very good ability to listen, a strong sense of responsibility;
  • You are willing and responsive;
  • You are service-oriented and persuasive;
  • You must have a customer portfolio and know local customers;
  • You have a good knowledge of IT tools and a keen sense of product and fashion culture;
  • You have worked in a fast past environment;
  • Your English must be fluent and ideally a second language;
