About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Expert to join our team at Evonik. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping our tax strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver tax plans for significant elements of our tax systems, working closely with senior colleagues.
- Conduct in-depth research using primary data sources to analyze key themes and trends.
- Utilize data management systems to deliver prescribed outcomes and prepare reports.
- Edit documents in line with our organizational style guidelines and prepare information for publication.
- Develop and deliver financial guidelines and protocols to ensure compliance with regulations and good financial practice.
Requirements
- University degree (First degree)
- Substantial general work experience, combined with comprehensive job-related experience in your area of expertise, to a fully competent level.
- Experience in planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives, as specified by more senior managers.
- Comprehensive knowledge and skills to act independently, guiding and training others on achieving full compliance with applicable rules and regulations in management and/or operations.
- Ability to work without supervision, providing technical guidance when required, on analyzing data trends for use in reports to guide decision-making.
- Comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently, providing guidance and training to others on acquiring, organizing, protecting, and processing data to fulfill business objectives.
- Independently support business processes with a comprehensive understanding and effective use of standard office equipment and standard software packages, while providing guidance and training to others.
- Comprehensive knowledge to act independently, providing guidance and training to others on using clear and effective verbal communications skills to express ideas, request actions, and formulate plans or policies.
