Payroll Specialist

As a Payroll Specialist, you will oversee all calculations related to employee compensation within DAVASO. Your attention to detail and ability to work autonomously will be crucial, as you will prioritize accuracy while managing various specific billing requirements with adaptability. You will maintain control over your processes both organizationally and administratively, fostering efficient workflows through innovative ideas. Collaborating within the HR department, you will provide mutual support in your responsibilities as necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Accurate computation of employee wages (payroll processing), encompassing income tax, social security contributions, and additional deductions
- Management of unique cases such as bonuses, one-time payments, and severance packages
- Acting as a knowledgeable resource for employees and management regarding all payroll-related inquiries and other HR matters
- Preparation and facilitation of company audits by the German Pension Insurance and tax authorities
- Assisting the Finance department in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
- Correspondence with external entities and generation of reports for health insurance providers, tax offices, and other authorities, along with work certificates
- Support in maintaining master data, monitoring time records, and managing the entire personnel administration from onboarding to offboarding
- Compiling supporting documents for personnel statistics and evaluations
- Completion of commercial training with several years of experience in payroll processing
- Strong understanding of current income tax and social security legislation, proficient in DATEV and MS Office
- Familiarity with company pension schemes is advantageous
- Exemplary service and consulting orientation
- Excellent communication skills, independent and structured work ethic, coupled with a strong sense of responsibility and quality
- Fluency in German is a distinct advantage
