Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections, maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of machine and electrical equipment in the wastewater treatment and drainage sector (urban drainage structures) and wastewater treatment plants.
  • Independently identify disturbances in wastewater treatment operations and initiate measures for prompt, professional disturbance resolution.
  • Independently collect, verify, and document measurement results.
  • Review circuit diagrams.

Requirements:

  • Completed training as an electrical engineer (m/f/d), electronics engineer for plant operation, mechatronics engineer (m/f/d), or equivalent.
  • Experience in the field of wastewater management.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards, particularly in the electrical field.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations for accident prevention.
  • Extensive manual skills, practical experience in performing maintenance, repair, and overhaul work in wastewater treatment plants.
  • Experience with SPS.
  • Willingness to obtain the specific technical knowledge certificate for operating building and plant technical systems.
  • Professional and personal qualifications for obtaining the switchgear authorization for switchgear up to 1000V.
  • Knowledge of lightning and surge protection is desirable.
  • Willingness to participate in technical on-call duty and regular weekend and holiday shifts.
  • Possession of driver's licenses B and C/CE, as well as authorization to operate forklifts.
  • Willingness to undergo reliability checks for access to secure areas.
  • Technical expertise in using MS-Office and geographic information systems.
  • Willingness to work in control areas in accordance with the Radiation Protection Act/Radiation Protection Ordinance.
  • Independent and cooperative working style with high performance and learning capacity.
