The Nordex Group is a leading manufacturer of wind turbines. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Regional Project Manager to join our team in the PM Central region.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for strengthening and unifying project planning within the PM Central region and between the global planning department. You will monitor and coordinate a regional project portfolio, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Create a regional project portfolio plan and track individual project progress.">
  • Update the overall plan by consolidating all necessary information from various company functions.">
  • Develop monthly and weekly reports that capture progress and critical points.">
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for project schedules.">
  • Address conflicts on a regional basis and propose priorities, future scenarios, and action plans to catch up on delays.">
  • Collaborate with project managers and commercial project managers to create a decision-making basis.">

Planning and Resource Management

">

You will analyze and monitor the critical path and buffer times of projects to ensure planning fulfillment. Additionally, you will migrate plans between different planning tools and collaborate closely with Global PM/EPC Planning.

Continuous Improvement

As a Senior Regional Project Manager, you will drive the continuous improvement of the planning process and planning tools. This includes ensuring planning consistency across different projects and departments, identifying use cases for available information, and being an ambassador for the planning function.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration or a suitable alternative discipline.">
  • Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in project management, preferably in a planning function.">
  • Experience in the wind energy industry is advantageous.">
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.">
  • Addition languages such as German or Spanish are advantageous.">
  • Good intercultural awareness, demonstrated by experience working in international contexts.">
  • A good understanding of the commercial impact of business decisions and ability to contribute to the creation of business cases.">
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).">
  • Experience with planning software Primavera P6 (Oracle).">
  • Programming skills (e.g., VBA) are advantageous.">
  • High ability to comprehend and strong analytical skills.">
  • Ability to take initiative and high motivation in a dynamic environment.">
  • Ability to develop ideas and promote them to others.">
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.">
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented work.">

Salary and Benefits

">

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The Nordex Group also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
