Job Title: Senior Digital Design Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Design Engineer to join our team at TDK-Micronas GmbH. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing digital circuit IPs, including special DSPs, processor platforms, and digital communication interfaces.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop digital circuit IPs, including special DSPs, processor platforms, and digital communication interfaces.
  • Lead digital project design management for a complete digital sub-system for a product.
  • Ensure stable manufacturing capability through design for test (DfT) and design for manufacturing (DfM).
  • Design digital IP and sub-systems using state-of-the-art digital design flow: RTL, linting, synthesis, STA, simulation with back-annotation, and formal proof.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our design methodology and tools.
  • Interface with other R&D departments, including system engineers, analog design, and circuit layout.
  • Provide technical guidance and supervision to Digital Design Engineers and Back-End Layout Engineers.

Your Profile:

  • University or college degree in electrical engineering with a focus on microelectronics.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital IP/IC design.
  • Proven experience in developing digital IPs and products in an industrial environment.
  • Experience in schematic-based digital circuit technology design and corresponding design tools.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in hardware description languages (Verilog, System Verilog, VHDL), script languages (TCL, Python, etc.), and standard digital design flow (RTL-coding, design compiler, logic equivalence check, static timing analysis, etc.).
  • Database management and file versioning control systems, issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
