About the Role

We're seeking a skilled developer with a passion for cloud-native microservices architecture. Your expertise in Spring Boot, Java, and Kotlin will help us build a scalable and efficient energy intelligence solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop backend features using modern frameworks and tools.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of our cloud-native microservice architecture.
  • Provide technical and functional support in the development of new product and solution ideas.
  • Maintain high code quality standards through test automation and static code analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with other developers and specialist departments throughout the software lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with Spring Boot or comparable roles.
  • Proficiency in JVM languages (Kotlin/Java), SQL, TDD, and data modeling.
  • Strong foundation in software engineering principles, including CI/CD pipelines and version control.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Docker and Shell.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills.
