Dual Study Program in Electrical Engineering and Communication Technology

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual for our 3-year dual study program in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology with a focus on Communication Technology for Transportation Systems (m/f/d). The program combines theoretical studies at DHBW Ravensburg's Campus Friedrichshafen with practical phases in Fulda. During the theoretical phases, a monthly rent subsidy of up to €300 is provided.

What to Expect in the Practical Phases:

  • You will gain a comprehensive understanding of project management, planning, and construction supervision.
  • Your focus will be on electrical engineering, particularly on communication technology, such as information displays in train stations, speakers, video surveillance systems, ticket machines, and train and mobile communication.
  • You will work on both small and large projects, learning all phases of our construction projects, from rough and fine planning to construction supervision and final acceptance.
  • You will be an essential part of DB, providing our customers and employees with essential information at all times.

Theoretical Studies:

Your Profile:

  • You have successfully completed your (vocational) high school diploma or possess equivalent professional qualifications (vocational high school graduates must complete the study aptitude test at DHBW before starting their studies).
  • You excel in math and physics.
  • You are fascinated by technical relationships and enjoy tinkering with electronic devices.
  • You are communicative and work well in a team.
  • You are goal-oriented and work independently.
