Air Freight Pricing Manager Europe and Cluster Germany/Switzerland

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Manager to join our team at DB Schenker. As a key member of our global logistics network, you will play a crucial role in promoting business effectiveness and efficiency while striving for innovation, flexibility, and integration with technology.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead AFR RFQs for the Region Europe on a global level
- Develop independent tender-specific Air Freight transport solutions for the Region Europe
- Coordinate all pricing elements, cost, and rate components worldwide
- Pricing/proposal preparation, verification, and benchmarking in accordance with divisions and local country organizations
- Assess incoming tenders based on defined criteria
- Compile independent tenders on a global scale
- Create presentations and pricing documents
- Participate in customer face-to-face meetings on site
- Closely cooperate with the purchasing department and sales organization
- Qualified logistics expert with an Air Freight background and working experience in the forwarding industry
- Completed professional training as a freight forwarding specialist and/or graduated in logistics, transport industry, or business administration
- More than 5 years of experience in airfreight operational freight forwarding functions
- Well-experienced in Airfreight pricing and/or Tender Management
- Ability to work independently/self-responsible
- Excellent and profound Excel skills and experience
- Convincing analytical skills
- Profound experience in planning, controlling, and leading AFR RFQs local, regional, and on a global level
- Proven ability to professionally lead and control projects and inspire team members
- Fluent business English and German (spoken and written)
- Good communication skills on an international level/experienced in teamwork
- A mobile, flexible, and motivated personality
- Very good knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (MS Office 2007/2010)
- Willingness to travel globally
