About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our IT department at DORMERO Hotels. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the IT department, including budget planning, standardization, and security
- Manage IT projects and develop project plans
- Negotiate contracts for hardware and software maintenance
- Oversee and guide our service providers, both locally and remotely
- Lead the IT team in the central office and on-site
- Implement our internal standards and regulatory requirements
- Support the team in analyzing and prioritizing support tasks
- Document workflows, IT processes, and installations
- Install and maintain networks
- Design and implement IT infrastructure for new hotel openings
- Ensure a smooth, internal infrastructure and support
Requirements
- Several years of experience in the IT field (possibly in the hotel industry)
- Proficiency in handling all IT tasks
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
- Passion for IT
- Excellent German and English language skills
- Experience in team leadership and development
