Are you looking for a new challenge in the financial sector? Our client, a leading company in the banking and insurance industry, is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join their team in Cologne. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for carrying out detailed analyses of business processes, identifying opportunities to optimize processes and risk management, and extracting, analyzing and interpreting financial data to support well-founded business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out detailed analyses of business processes in the banking and insurance environment
  • Identification of opportunities to optimize processes and risk management
  • Extracting, analyzing and interpreting financial data to support well-founded business decisions
  • Developing meaningful reports and dashboards for management
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements in the banking and insurance sector
  • Integration of compliance requirements into business processes
  • Working with various business units to understand and implement requirements
  • Defining clear and concise requirements for the IT department in the financial sector
  • Participate in the identification and assessment of risks in the banking and insurance environment
  • Development of risk mitigation and control strategies

Requirements:

  • Degree in business administration, business informatics or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience as a business analyst, ideally in the banking or insurance sector
  • Sound knowledge of data analysis and handling financial data
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in the financial sector
  • Written and spoken German language skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team
