About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Initiatives Lead to join our team at Imperial Brands PLC. As a key member of our Strategic Initiatives Team, you will play a critical role in driving strategic optimization initiatives across various areas of Global Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver strategic optimization initiatives in Sourcing, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Product Realization by managing project teams or working individually.
  • Collect and validate relevant data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Conduct analyses to generate strategically relevant insights.
  • Develop recommendations for GSC LT and Cluster/Regional Leadership Teams.
  • Present results to GSC LT and Cluster/Regional Leadership Teams with a cohesive story.
  • Develop and execute strategic business projects, methodologies, and responses to critical performance challenges.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to envision future scenarios that address strategic supply chain questions.
  • Propose creative solutions to encountered problems.
  • Standardize and improve initiative leadership to increase impact and shorten lead time.
  • Generate fact-based insights for supply chain optimization.

Requirements

  • Experience in supply chain management consulting, with business consultant, business analyst, or project lead roles.
  • Outstanding conceptual and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate data-based insights.
  • Curious, open-minded, and independent individuals.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Practical skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a willingness to continue learning.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate analysis and project progress.
  • Ability to work with executive-level management.
