The chapter represents all experts who deliver data and AI engineering capabilities to our product teams. We enhance those functional skillsets, improve E.ON's MLOps & AIOps tech stack, and deliver a high level of data delivery and model automation.

Meaningful and Challenging - Your tasks

  • Design and architect enterprise search solutions that meet business needs using Lucene-based search technologies such as Elasticsearch and Apache Solr.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand their search requirements and translate them into technical requirements for enterprise search solutions.
  • Develop user journey maps that capture various touchpoints and architect search solutions to ingest data from data sources such as databases, SharePoint, FTP servers, websites, and crawling.
  • Design solutions and strategies for near real-time search, batch data ingestion, and data crawling. Define and implement an ETL layer to enrich data and optimize search results for business needs.
  • Develop and implement search user interfaces, including search forms, facets, and filters.
  • Participate in search solution testing and tuning, including performance optimization and load testing.

Authentic and Ambitious - Your profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with multiple years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise search solutions.
  • Strong experience with search technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, and Microsoft Search, and a solid understanding of search relevancy, indexing, and search algorithms.
  • Understanding of keyword search, fuzzy search, and vector search, as well as search UI design and development.
  • Experience with integrating search solutions with search client applications and data sources, CMS systems, and other tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident and engaging communication with internal and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Team player with an independent and structured working approach and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
