Job Title: IT Technical Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Architect to join our team at Hyundai AutoEver Europe GmbH. As an IT Technical Architect, you will play a key role in supporting and leading Hyundai/KIA/Genesis connectivity platforms, focusing on in-house systems, infotainment, and IoT, primarily in the back-end area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support in the context of architecture/development and topics
  • Understand customer needs and the technical architecture of connected car systems and services
  • Provide technical leadership within the team and support other departments, playing a key role in designing the technical architecture of the systems
  • Support enhancements and projects for connected car platforms
  • Engage in car connectivity projects and support the technical parts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience as an IT Architect position
  • Hands-on experience in software development (Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Python, HTTP)
  • Experience in backend platform / API (XML, SOAP, REST, UML, etc.)
  • Experience in databases (SQL - PostgreSQL, Mongo DB)
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
  • Very good English skills - spoken and written
  • Travelling to other EU countries may be required
Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of multi-tier and cloud-based services (Microsoft Azure, AWS)
  • Experience in projects regarding connected vehicle feature implementation
  • Experience in developing microservices (RESTful) based on open-source products (Kubernetes, Docker, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Tomcat, Hibernate, JUnit, Log4J, JMeter)
  • Knowledge/experience in common software development tools and building CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of IoT related connectivity protocols (HTTPS, TCP/IP, REST, MQTT, AMQP, WebSocket, Bluetooth, Wifi, etc.)
