As a Business Development Engineer at tesa, you will play a crucial role in driving innovative tape technology solutions in the automotive market. This exciting opportunity will challenge you to connect our internal product development efforts with industry needs, leveraging your creativity and dedication to bring cutting-edge solutions to market.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting adhesive and mechanical material testing in the laboratory based on customer requirements.
- Writing detailed test reports for automotive customers, providing comprehensive analysis and insights.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for business development initiatives, such as benchmarking on product level.
- Assisting in organizing and preparing presales activities, including international workshops and customer trainings, to ensure smooth execution and high-quality content delivery.
- Supporting the business development engineering team to expand our presence in the automotive industry.
- Improving global team cooperation and managing project monitoring tools and SharePoint databases.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking an enrolled Master's student in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a similar field (or B.Sc. student with relevant technical apprenticeship). You should possess a structured, precise, and reliable work approach, with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and in a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as fluency in English and/or German and proficiency in MS Office.
