Industrial Engineer Filling Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our Process and Industrial Engineering team at Skeleton Technologies. As an Industrial Engineer Filling, you will play a key role in the commissioning and starting of equipment and processes in our new Leipzig Gigafactory.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the single point of contact for equipment manufacturers during project execution, tracking supplier progress and ensuring timely delivery.
- Be responsible for the assigned part of the manufacturing line, ensuring that technical specifications are implemented and equipment is properly maintained.
- Solve technical open points related to equipment, maintaining and structuring equipment-related documentation for future scale-up phases.
- Internal responsibility for equipment FAT at the manufacturer's site, documenting the FAT report and assigning post-FAT improvement actions.
- Responsible for equipment commissioning and SAT in Skeleton's factory, ensuring that manufacturing is on time and on cost.
- Provide daily input to the project back office and leadership team regarding timeline and progress of assigned manufacturing equipment.
- Execute calculations for manufacturing output according to overall scale-up requirements.
- Define product and process specifications, develop test plans, and implement them in production, defining and checking acceptance criteria for Filling.
- Responsible for reaching yield targets and continuous improvement of yield.
- Responsible for problem-solving in processes.
- Successfully completed studies as an Engineer in Chemical engineering, Process engineering, Production engineering, or similar.
- At least 3 years of experience in battery filling, preferably with Cylindrical or Prismatic cells.
- Previous experience with PFMEA processes and evaluation of manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix bugs.
- Previous experience in dealing with customer escalations.
- Business thinking and project management experience beneficial.
- Structured working style, focused.
- Strong will to solve process- and manufacturing problems, hands-on readiness to find solutions.
- Independent working style, friendly demeanor, and team-oriented approach.
- Willingness to go an extra mile and eager to learn and develop.
- Fluent English language skills, German a huge advantage.
