As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a leading role in the design and development of embedded software applications for Linux-based systems, ensuring high performance and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate software applications into embedded systems, conduct thorough code reviews, and mentor junior engineers to maintain high coding standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop embedded software applications for Linux-based systems
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software applications into embedded systems
* Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
* Mentor junior engineers to maintain high coding standards
* Contribute to the planning and implementation of software tests
* Optimize and further develop driver code for our product applications
* Contribute to and champion the Software Team's processes

Requirements:

* Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software development
* Excellent programming skills in ANSI-C and C++11/14
* In-depth experience with Linux-based and bare metal embedded systems
* Good knowledge of computer networking and the OSI model
* Language skills: proficient English is mandatory, basic German knowledge would be a plus
