Commercial Director Finance

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Director Finance to join our team at E.ON Energy Projects GmbH. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for implementing large-scale carbon capture plants at industrial sites and power plants across Europe.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Manage contracts and claims, including setting up commercial specifications, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization of contracts
- Draft and negotiate standardized international supply contracts and national laws
- Link between project and E.ON's central procurement department in Essen and project management/business
- Control and report project budgets, and manage risks from award phase to acceptance
- Pre-qualify suppliers and service providers to ensure compliance with requirements and standards
- University degree with commercial background and knowledge of tendering and procurement procedures
- Several years of experience in commercial project and contract management for process plant construction, energy industry, or related sectors
- Strong purchasing capabilities in challenging situations
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently and take initiative
- Ability to understand technical, process engineering, and legal topics
- Fluency in English and German (at least B2 level), and knowledge of other languages is a plus
- User knowledge of SAP BI and SAP Materials Management, and good MS Office skills
- High flexibility with hybrid working model and flexible working hours
- Working abroad with up to 20 days in the European economic area
