At Sweco GmbH, we are seeking a highly skilled Mergers & Acquisitions Manager to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive business growth through strategic acquisitions and partnerships.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading smaller mergers and acquisitions projects from contract negotiation to closing, owning the M&A pipeline, and ensuring high proactivity towards potential targets. They will also support the creation of strategic dialogue with targets, interact with the Group M&A team, and provide advice to the Sweco team.

We are looking for a friendly, curious, results-driven individual with a strong desire to achieve long-term sustainable growth via M&A. The ideal candidate should have several years of relevant professional experience in M&A advisory and/or corporate M&A as overall project manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead smaller and supports the leading of large mergers & acquisitions projects from first contract through due diligence to contract negotiations and closing
  • Owns the M&A pipeline and ensures high proactivity towards potential targets
  • Support with reach out to create strategic dialogue with our Targets when and where needed and go-to market approach
  • Liaise internally with the right persons to help create momentum with Targets and understand segments
  • Prepare presentations - both for internal purpose and external purpose where required
